"Lovely place to stay, very clean, so friendly, very welcoming to our dog. We left our car in the garage which was cheaper than the road too. Couldn't believe how close to the Christmas market we were, literally on the doorstep. The cathedral is close too, so beautiful. Highly recommend staying here "

"Got an excellent deal on this room. It was just an overnight stop off. However while it was great value and very cheap it was not somewhere I would want to stay again. Room was tired and in need of refurbishment with stains and damage on walls and furniture. However as I say it was very cheap."

We paid for the breakfast which was continental This is not a criticism, but It would have been nice to have the food available replenished more often. "Lovely, quaint hotel with all the amenities you could need. The owner helped us up to the room and made a dinner reservation for us which was very kind. We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but we loved it!"

"Parking was really safe, weird hours for reception opening and closing and it was a little tricky to get in once the reception is closed. Good for a journey south as a quick stop over. Halls smelt of damp but the rooms were clean and nice. No option for a evening meal and bar service closed at 8pm, but some nice options in walking distance. I would bring essentials e.g snacks and drinks with you."
