"Beautiful, modern and spotless place in a great neighborhood, close to many restaurants and the waterfront. We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing we wished for was some patio furniture on the rooftop so we could have enjoyed the outdoor space even more. Would definitely recommend!"

"The location and breakfast were amazing. One thing to be aware of is that there is a big construction site happening across the street and they begin working at 7am and finish around 5:30. We were gone most of the day and woke up relatively early so it didn’t bother me that much. The beds is super comfortable and so are the pillows. The staff go above and beyond and made my wife several extra Lattes in the morning."

"Excellent stay with the most accommodating and helpful staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. We were greeted with refreshments every evening and our beds were made comfortable nightly with hot water bottles making us sleep better than at home. "Hotellet ligger på en dejlig rolig gade, men tæt på caféer/restauranter. Smukke fællesrum og værelser, men værelser er meget små. De 2 små pools er virkelig små men den øverste terrasse er hyggelig og med dejlig udsigt. Dårligt personale, man føler sig ikke velkommen overhovedet. Ingen smil og ingen snak. Fin morgenmad med alt hvad man kan ønske sig, men man skal ikke have et åbent køkken når personalet hellere vil checke deres mobiltelefoner end skabe en god stemning. Vi har oplevet utrolig god...

"Das Hotel war wunderschön, wir haben uns ab dem ersten Moment sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren alle unglaublich herzlich, nett und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr modern mit einem schönen Balkon, wir haben uns durchgehend wohlgefühlt. Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. "The Winchester is a beautiful hotel. The area of Sea Point is a great location in Cape Town. The room we had 110 has a balcony on the side street, not the front ocean view like I thought. But service was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and polite. The center patio was closed due to the cool weather so that was not optimal but it was their winter. "I had a pleasant stay. The location was perfect. Very central location in Sea Point. Always felt safe. Some restaurants and convenience stores are nearby. The employees were attentive and helpful. I came to run the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon and it was walking distance to the stadium and start/finish line. I would stay there again. It’s close enough to get to meeting points for various tours."
