Have been here a few times and will keep coming back. It is so easy and the rooms are fab. You are 4/5 minutes form the centre of the city and all its wonderful shops, bars and restaurants.

Excellent hotel

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The room is very large and has a sofa also in it; the mattress is fantastic, the location is in the middle of the center of Leiden and the breakfast was very nice. I would definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip.

Great central location within walking distance of all main attractions. Really helpful and friendly staff. Pillows were a little hard and too big for us but that's more our personal preference,. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, would definitely recommend.

Parking is €25 for a full day in the garage nearby. Shops and dining (and bike rentals) are walkable easily. Staff is practically nonexistent, which is okay if you don't need them but if you needed things it would likely be difficult. Plan accordingly.

Fabulous hotel!

Our experience here was amazing! We were upgraded to the Presidential Suite at no extra charge (and didnʻt even ask for the upgrade!) and the suite was truly luxurious! It is located near the university, right in the middle of the area we wanted to explore, so it was perfect.

Lovely city location- very central with great original features but modern furnishings. Just be aware of some road noise/ people chatter outside windows which are not fully sound proofed. 2 long chairs are too small / uncomfortable to really relax in - a softer would be much better give this was advertised as a ‘suite’.

Nice room, terrible bathroom

Location is perfect, and the room was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was so dark, even during the day, that it was hard to put in my contact lenses and impossible to apply makeup. Water pressure was inadequate and bathroom door squeaked loudly. Request to install battery in non-functional lighted magnifying mirror and to oil squeaky door went unanswered.

Our room was beautiful with three huge windows overlooking the canal. Leiden was a lovely university town with lots of good restaurant options. My husband is a cyclist, and was pleased with the ease of renting an electric bike from Easyfiets and it was easy to navigate the region with the Dutch bike routing system. Perfect temperature for biking and no rain the first week of May! Very kind and helpful staff—especially Anna who cleaned our room!
