"The location of this hotel is perfect, especially for the price. Great location, a block from the beach. This is an older hotel (set up like a Motel) but is pretty well updated. However it’s still clearly an older property. The bed needs an update and the pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. However I would definitely stay here again. The staff were really nice and accommodating and you really can’t beat the location. "

"It was the perfect place for my daughter and I while we were in town to visit UCSB. Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful bike path and close to an ocean front restaurant. Cute little park for kids and restrooms at the beach. "

"Great location, right opposite the beach. A nice pool and fun family games throughout the grounds. Our room was very comfortable, asked for quiet room and it was! The reasons I haven't given this 5 stars is because our room wasn’t ready for check in at 4.20pm. The restaurant menu was limited… so easy to walk in to downtown though. We wanted to play pickleball, the courts were empty but were told we couldn’t use them as booking was not available. Minor points really, I would recommend this hotel...

"Great property, would definitely stay again on a short trip. Rooms are on the smaller side, but it’s a small boutique hotel the staff and the lobby make up for the size of the room."
