"Our room had an unbeatable view of the Hudson River and World Trade Centre. We traveled with a small child and there were accessible subway stations close by to accommodate our stroller. Staff were amazing and the rooms were clean although maybe not quite as updated as other properties. "As a New York hotel we expected a small room, and it was. The bunk beds were wider than usual bunks, and the mattresses and pillows really comfortable. All the staff we encountered were fantastic. So friendly but professional. The shower was magnificent. There were some dust bunnies around the bed frames, but thats nit picking. All the complimentry toiletries were generous in size and excellent quality. We didnt use all the hotel's facilities, but staff couldnt do enough to help when we needed...

"If you’ve stayed at a Motel One in Europe before, then you know not to expect too much in terms of amenities. However, the room had everything we needed: a small fridge, iron, hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable and the room was bigger than expected; we were able to fit two large suitcases. Staff were very friendly and the location is great for transport, particularly if you’re planning on using the ferries. All in all a good experience."

"They have a great pool and gym. The elevator system they use is awesome. You never have to wait because of the system they use even with a full hotel. The room was spacious. The only downfall was the very loud housekeeping staff during early mornings yelling to each other and slamming doors. Why should everyone have to be awakened by you cleaning rooms? "
