"Nice bright room, recently decorated , had a small shower room and toilet and a separate sink area within bedroom. Basic but adequate , no hairdryer. Nice communal kitchen with lounge area, books to read, bicycle storage room. Price expensive for what essentially is a good hostel rather than hotel accommodation . Complicated check-in procedure as no front desk , all communications in Spanish and not done through Hotels direct but through my WhatsApp account. This annoyed me . Information should...

"our window was faced into a corridor so there was no fresh air nor a beach view. one of the bathrooms in the hostel smelt very musty but the other one was fine. besides those two things, we thought the space was ideal for the two of us. bathrooms were always super clean! "

"Relaxing and beautiful oceanfront views are what stand out at the Salmar. The hotel was refurbished recently and they did a fantastic job. Pleasant colors and appreciated details like bedding, panoramic sliders purified water machines, and robes to name a few. Staff was helpful and friendly 5 Stars Highly recommend !!"

"Passing through and needed somewhere to stay . This was ok BUT location is too remote ! It’s 30mins walk to beach and shops not less time as host advised . There is a shuttle service 5x / day .. it’s ok but was late by 30mins on arrival . Not a good start ! Very uneven surface if you decide to walk !NOT suitable for elderly or disability / children to walk this dirt track ! "

"Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat.
