"This outstanding Inn is a wonderful place! Restored to the charm of a 1900s Inn was modern bathrooms, excellent air conditioning, and modern conveniences (Wi-Fi/TVs). The staff is world class and makes you feel at home. A very restful place for a fully staffed self service, complementary kitchenette for all to share. We will highly recommend this end to all our friends and definitely will stay here again when we’re in the area. In fact, it’s worth a special trip just to stay here at least once...

"This was a cute room in a great location. Pros: private, comfortable bed, large room, cute decor. Cons: Musty smell, no fan, no ability to put the AC under 72, no warning that we would be on the third floor with a non-working elevator, no onsite staff, minimal cleaning (new towels & garbage removal only). No coffee or ice machine. Plus you have to walk in and out through a literal bar. I will still probably go back, but arrange to have a fan and make sure I wasn’t on the third floor. But...

"I absolutely loved my stay at Sanford House. I went for the Spain Portugal World Cup game at the Dallas Stadium, and I’m so glad I found this gem. The hotel is only 15 min walk to the stadium, which save time and money on transportation. And the hotel has a lovely free shuttle to and from the stadium if you don’t want to walk. "This is a very nice old historic inn. It has a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and a bar inside, as well as a shady garden with places to sit outside as you enjoy a drink or food. Nice big porch out front with chairs on it too. Our room had another sitting room in it that was nice to have. Not sure if they all do. "They are trying to renovate an old Victorian house, but really do not seem to have any experience with hotels or B&B's. The room we had was painted poorly with messy paint lines at the trim and paint drips on the floor. The caulking in the shower was comically bad. The shower was quite small. We waiting several minutes for the hot water in the shower and eventually took two back to back cold showers . There was no table or dresser to put our stuff on, so we had everything on the floor.
