Resort property is older than what the pictures depict online. The rooms are old. It is the same layout as pictures shown online, just much older. We had to change rooms because the first room was NOT clean. There were cup stains on the night stands, ants crawling on one of the night stands, hair in the shower, and a roach looking bug was crawling around in the bathroom. The second room was much cleaner than the first but still old. The second room was on the top floor and we were surprised to find bats flying in/out of the roof of the building. We did not have a screened in balcony so bats were flying around us. Needless to say we were not comfortable sitting on the balcony after sunset. I will not book at the Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando again.
Staff was friendly. If you plan to shop at the Market Place onsite plan on spending more for items than you would normally. Dining on the resort was convenient and the food was good. I still would not stay here again nor would I recommend anyone to stay here.
