"Rooms are spartan but clean, showers don't get quite hot enough and the beds collapse a bit towards the middle - if you're used to firmer mattresses, sleeping here will be a bit of a pain after multiple days. But the hotel is extremely well-situated, the wifi is blazingly fast, there are good places to eat and stores within easy walking distance, and it's a very budget-friendly option to be staying in the heart of NYC."

"The rooms with 2 double beds were clean and had a good amount of space. The location is convenient with a subway stop right across the block. Be aware though that the rooms don't have a refrigerator or microwave included. The line for breakfast can get quite long the closer it gets to 10am which is when the breakfast ends."

"Terrific hotel! From the staff, to the decor, to the location, it's wonderful. We arrived too early to check in, but we met with Kevin at the front desk and he took care of the bags for us. He commented on a lizard pin on my jacket, and hours later when we got access to our room, there was a personalized note, welcoming us back (we had previously stayed at the CitizenM in Seattle) with a beautiful picture of a lizard (hand drawn by Kevin).
