The amenities on the cruise ship were wonderful, and the hospitality was above and beyond. We felt truly welcomed and cared for by the crew and they always provided what we needed. "We just returned from a 2 day 1 night cruise on the Paradise Grand. It was perfect. We were tendered out to the boat and I wasn’t sure what to expect. We were met with a cool towel and drink and were well taken care of from the point on. Our cruise was through Lan Ha bay which is a bit quieter and I much preferred it. "The ship is definitely older but functional. Friendly staff and helpful. Bring water as they charge for it through the cruise (all beverages are for sale). They need to improve their timetable as all boats are trying to do the same activities at the same time leading to the sites being extremely crowded (the second morning the sites were empty!). Overall worth it but if I was to go again, I would do a longer cruise or a day cruise."

"The boat was superb. Brand new and service was excellent. Food really nice. We were upgraded to this ship on the day when travelling to the port which was a bit concerning but all good in the end. We ended up on a better boat so very nice. Trip was excellent. The only reason I didn’t mark it overall as a 5* was the cost but we got what we paid for. So if you want a luxurious trip to Halong bay I’d recommend this trip "

"The hotel itself is very clean and modern inside however we arrived at 9:30pm and were told the restaurant closed at 10pm. We checked in and went upstairs to the restaurant at 9:35pm and were told we were too late and there was no food, there is no food around the property so that was a bit unfortunate. As we had messaged ahead multiple times informing reception the time we were arriving it would have been kind to have left something for guests to have on arrival, even a banana… Be warned the...
