"I enjoyed my stay. I arrived on Friday, August 31, 2026 at a time when the Hilton online check-in system was down world-wide! The staff did a good job in manually checking me in as I needed to get to a function that evening. Due to the online outage there were issues with my room: the air-conditioning was not working, the lights did not function properly and the shades were off-line. "We were a little nervous not staying at a big brand hotel. But the reviews repeatedly mentioned cleanliness. And it was a good price. So Yes! Very clean, friendly check-in. Gentleman told us the rooms were recently updated. Carpet looked new, good size room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Good shower pressure. Several outlets for recharging. I liked the big mirror and bench in the room to do my hair. Parked right outside our door. Excellent location to visit Branford, Guilford...

"Breakfast and parking were great. The room was clean but the bathroom needed the items improved that were given to the front desk. The out of order exercise machines give a bad first impression. Front desk was also advised of that. They told me a remodeling was in process. Follow up housekeeping service was appreciated."
