Very very hospitable, the staff was absolutely amazing. We had no trouble, they were very helpful and accommodating. We have never come across a better hotel staff. The only Problem we faced with the hotel was that we were not able to pay the bill by card while checking out, but that was probably because of signal issues. Overall, Dusit was my favourite part of my Bhutan trip and I would definitely recommend it to anybody going to Thimphu or to any dusit hotel for that matter.

It’s lovely hotel with friendly staff and delicious food.

It is a very nice hotel in the heart of the downtown but yet very open and with good views. the staff behaviour is excellent. the spa at the hotel is the Excellent and the staff is fully trained and conversant with the techniques. Only the food section need some improvement. the taste and preparation of the food was not upto the mark and chef and their cooking staff need to be trained properly.

The hotel is centrally located. Rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. The serve good quality coffee and has a trained barista. The only downside is some of the rooms heating isn’t working at all.

Hotel is located quite close to points of interest and even the office for obtaining permit for Punakha and other regions is located close. Rooms were spacious (we were 3 adults in one room) and clean, food was great ( we did not take the buffet option and directly ordered from restaurant). Only thing was that the hotel collect extra amount from us saying Expedia has not collected the amount for the extra bed. The invoice from Expedia though clearly mentioned 3 adults. The room and facilities were great but we were really disappointed with the service. We checked in around 3:30 pm and stepped out at 4. We asked specifically if there was going to be dinner served, they said yes. We got back around 8 pm and were told that the kitchen had closed and we should have put in an order for dinner before 7 pm.
