We decided to book a tour in order to see the Mekong Delta. This was our most convenient option at the time. Our first stop was Vinh Trang Pagoda. They gave us 20 minutes but I could have used hours to take this place in. There are three Buddha statues, each gigantic and distinctly different. One is the classic standing Buddha, one is the portly and jolly Pu-tai, and the final one is a reclining or sleeping Buddha. This temple is worth a visit if you're traveling under your own steam to the Mekong Delta.
