Diocletian’s Palace is home to some of the most remarkable Roman ruins on earth. Once a retirement home for a powerful emperor, this ancient fortress has evolved into Split’s old town. Today, about 3,000 locals now live within its confines. Wander through narrow lanes and look for remains of the old palace and its fortifications.

Split Marina is a luxurious, well-kept marina west of Split’s attractive old town. Rent a deluxe vessel for a leisurely excursion or celebration of a special event or stop at the marina to marvel at the impressive vessels docked at the shore.

Kašuni Beach is an attractive beach destination for swimming and sunbathing. More peaceful and rural in feel than Split’s main Bačvice Beach, it is a good place to enjoy a relaxing day out. Bask in the sun and lounge away an afternoon on its tranquil shores.
