If you have a hire car like we did you can go where you want, backwards and forwards into Switzerland and not be stopped, Lake Geneva. There is a good bus system. The Hotel had transfer to and from the airport

"Very modern and funky hotel. Would have preferred more comfortable seating in the lobby/lounge/restaurant. Had some issues with inserting our North American adapters. Luggage racks are too small for anything bigger than carry-on suitcases."
