"This place was an absolutely wonderful find! Its location right off the motorway is incredibly convenient, and it’s a quick drive to Waterford. We were a family of four (with an infant) and were delighted to be allowed to check-in early as our room was ready. "Lovely stay at lord Beganals. The property is fabulous tastefully decorated and beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby. Staff are very friendly special mention to Karen and Kay breakfast team !! Food in restaurant also delicious and freshly prepared very efficient even though it was very busy Sleepy little village with lovely walk along the river If you want to make this place even more special consider adding a spa or pool. No matter we’ll be back 💚"

"Only negative was that there wasn't an elevator. Staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and provided great service. Reception staff helped with baggage due to some of us being a bit incapacitated."

"When arrived at hotel reception it was noisy and congested with children 👧 running around. I asked if possible for a room I quiet area of hotel, this was accommodated at an additional cost of £180 euros hence total cost £792 for two nights bed and breakfast, not good value for money.Room was clean and aided a restful night. Breakfast was like Piccadilly Circus with Children and a cartoon character walking around. I asked for gluten free crackers but not availability as don’t eat bread. Poor...

"We stayed in the cabin in the back which was…. Absolutely adorable and as pictured. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...

"Great hotel! Loved the location and rooms were great!"

"Upon arrival, we were sent to a room without power and a leak in the bathroom. The stafd had shut off the power because of the leak so they knew about it but put us in the room anyways. When we were moved, they provided us with a free drink voucher which was nice but when we tried to use it to order a pint, they only brought us a half pint. When eating at their restaurant, their cesaer salad included carrots which I am allergic to. This was not listed under the allergens or in the menu...

"Clean room. Gated parking onsite available. Restaurant had good food. Location had lots within walking distance. Staff was friendly and even allowed us to check in a bit early. Would recommend and stay again!"
