"We have stayed at the Oban for many years. Our room was small but clean. Pillows need a review as huge and not easy to sleep on. The front gardens beautiful. One staff member very sweet. Overall okay. Location is great and golf club although patio closed is lovely. Despite poor weather we enjoyed."

"When I first entered my room, it appeared musty and dingy - typical of a cheap motel. But then I entered the bathroom. There was some sort of animal feces in the sink, and the tub/shower was beyond dirty - with animals prints in the tub. I quickly left and went back to the check in counter, and explained the situation to the young woman, who seemed perplexed but not shocked. She gave me keys to a different room. Luckily there were no feces, but everything was pretty dirty and there was no toilet...

"Actual room and dining area were no where close to the pictures in Expedia. One of the bed in Suite#111 did not even have a fitted bed sheet. Bed mattress was dirty and hard. Window curtain was not adequate to block the entire window in the kitchenette. Light coming in from the window. Pipes in the kitchenette were gurgling periodically all night. Weird smell in the room at night, which seemed to be mostly due to HVAC filters needing replacement. Room bathroom was old - missing tile on wall...

"Horrible stay. Got a king suite and pull out bed. Pull out bed didn’t have any sheets, had to ask but then the duvet had blood stain. Got a new duvet and had to put it into the cover but the cover had hair inside. Fast forward to third day and then we ended up with an ant infestation, ants migrating through baseboards and carpet. "I liked the balcony and being able to take a look around at the surroundings while outside; could see the falls in the distance from our balcony. Didn't realize there wouldn't be a microwave in the room. I would remove the carpet in the hallways as they have trapped some odours. The bathroom sink had trouble draining. The hotel is a little run down but the price is reflective of this. Bed and pillows were comfortable. There is a good restaurant directly beside the hotel which was handy."

"We had 2 beds and a pull out overlooking Horseshoe and American falls. The room and the view were incredible. The floor plan didn't make sense. You can see the falls from the jetted tub through a sliding window in the bathroom but the queen and pull out beds are in the room in between. What's the point of the view from the tub if you're sharing the room with the kids? The toilet can only be accessed by walking between the shower and tub so if either is in use, the rest of the family has to...
