"The room was all OK, but the bed was very firm. The room was towards the street, with no AC, so we had to choose from warm room or the noise from outside. The breakfast was rather disappointing and din not feel to be worth the money. Parking in nearby parkinglot was free - a big bonus."

"The staff at the hotel are all amazing! From a smooth check in to all our questions they were there to help! They even helped us get the bus transportation app up and running for us. The only downside was a slight hum in the room due to ducting in the bathroom. We were so tired from our day that we still slept peacefully! Very central location. Beautiful to stroll along the River right across the street from the hotel. There was a bus stop just around the corner from the hotel making it super easy to bus to the Caen Memorial and the Chateau. Choice of restaurants within a short walk down the road."

"I specifically booked a room here because it said that there were laundry facilities for use. We had been on the road for a week and needed our clothes washed right away. When we arrived, we were told that we were not able to use the facilities ourselves and that they have a service that charges 20 euros to wash and fold. We were told that the laundry facilities were being used and therefore, not available, so we dropped off our laundry to the night clerk. We specifically told him that the items in the white bags do not have to be folded (I don't like my under garments handled by others). On the way out, we told the morning clerk the same thing...do not fold the items in the white bags. I even pulled up Google translate to make sure she understood. When we arrived back at the hotel, we picked up our laundry and none of it was folded and some of the items were still damp. We went downstairs and asked them to dry it again (which took two hours and two visits to the front desk). It was finally dropped off and none of it folded. When we checked out, there were three 20 euro charges. We immediately told the clerk that we only had one load of clothing and he was able to remove the other two charges. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again nor will we recommend staying here. I suggest you change the wording on your site to say, "laundry services available." Other hotels specify this."

"The staff was friendly and very helpful with our questions as we know very little french. The shuttle driver from Bayeux to Mt St Michel was exceptional. I believe his name is Yon? (unsure of spelling but this is how I pronounced it) He was friendly, professional, kind and very informative. Very please with my visit!!"

"I really don’t want to be negative about my stay at your hotel. Lovely location, nice well looked after buildings and brilliant for a 10 minute drive to the ferry at Ouistreham in the morning. But please get some staff! The service in the restaurant wasn’t brilliant and a few orders were forgotten, my main meal was ok, but arrived lukewarm warm, as if it had been prepared a while before it was delivered. Having just one member of staff, or might have been the owner, I don’t know, booking people in, sorting out payment, showing them to their rooms, serving coffee clearing glasses from the bar and garden, taking food orders, serving drinks and food all at the same time, on their own is the problem I think. Not the staff member. You know how many people will be staying with you, and when they are coming and who they are, so please invest in appropriate amount of staff to aid your customers experience. I would happily stay there again. Please take this review as constructive and not destructive, as it is a lovely hotel, and I did overal enjoy my visit their."
