"We stayed two nights at the Clerk & Wells. The staff was so helpful when we needed to have our luggage held and when we asked for local food recommendations. The room was adorable, nicely appointed and very quiet. "

"Excellent location for O2 venue, which is why we chose this establishment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal at the pub was 'nice' although portion size was not too generous. Room was very small (superior double) en-suite facilities were also tiny. Stairway and corridors leading to the rooms are narrow and steep (we were on the 3rd floor). Did not experience noise from the pub or road, this may not be the case in summer as there is many outside/rooftop tables."

"Although the room was clean it was quite small for three people. It felt like a double room with an extra bed squeezed in. There was no fridge and no desk or chair compared to what we saw online for a triple room. The tv only has cable channels so we couldn’t connect our phones to watch Netflix etc. no hdmi cable available from reception either. Room faced the back of the hotel which looks like a car park/ bin storage area. Staff were polite and friendly but not the most helpful when we asked...
