"Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The Classic Double Room is quite small, so it's something to keep in mind when booking. It's well-suited for a single guest but may feel a bit cramped for two people, especially with luggage. The lobby is beautifully designed and creates a great first impression with its stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The food was ok, with a decent enough variety of options and satisfactory quality. Overall, it's a comfortable hotel with attractive common areas, though I'd recommend choosing a larger room if you're traveling as a couple. Additionally, the walls seem to be a bit thin, so it's fairly easy to hear activity from neighboring rooms. That said, the noise wasn't excessive during my stay and was manageable, so it didn't significantly impact my overall experience."

"The room was lovely; large, clean, well appointed with all the amenities would would expect from a 5* hotel Check in was the strangest check in I have ever experienced, we arrived to ridiculously long queues and instead of inviting people to sit, maybe with a welcome drink, we all stood in these queues for nearly half an hour. The check in itself took nearly 15mins with a whole series of forms which, in my opinion could have been pre-sent by email or done on an iPad away from the main check in desks. Even with the extensive check in; the staff didn’t give some important information, including the fact that you needed to make reservations for dinner in the hotel restaurants… the first night we almost didn’t eat because of this!! Breakfast was very good, so many options, great coffee and freshly cooked egg station. A couple of things to note, each time you sign something to your room they add 10% service… in addition to this, upon checkout they add an additional ‘resort fee’ to your invoice (for us it was another £30 per night) … we queried this and subsequently asked for it to be removed, but it seemed strange that it had been added in the first place as this was never mentioned during check in either."

"I had an amazing stay at the InterContinental Cartagena. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and in a great location in Bocagrande, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and the historic center. The views of the Caribbean are absolutely stunning, and the pool area is a perfect place to relax. What really stood out was the excellent service. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and luxurious. I would definitely recommend the InterContinental Cartagena to anyone visiting the city. It was a wonderful experience, and I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Cartagena!"
