Not 5 star maybe 3 at best

I recently stayed at a hotel and would like to share my experience with you. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar was very nice with great cocktails. One of the highlights of the hotel was its ski in and out feature, which was a massive plus for me. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast as it lacked fresh fruit and only had one small coffee machine. The powdered eggs were also not up to par. The room I stayed in was very dated, and the shower had no way to hang on the wall without soaking the whole room. Considering the level of accommodation, I found the hotel to be quite expensive. Despite being advertised as a 5-star hotel, I would personally rate it as a 3-star at best. To add to my dissatisfaction, there was a party going on in the room next door at midnight. When I brought this issue to the attention of the reception, they told me to go talk to the people in the room myself, as they didn't want to leave the reception to handle the situation. The spa facilities were okay, but they seemed outdated. Additionally, the steam room only worked intermittently. Overall, my experience at the hotel was mixed, with some positives and negatives.

I loved the views from the windows and the interior of the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. There were constant problems with Wi-Fi. And ialso inconvenient to take a shower. I would rate this hotel only 4 stars.

Heaven on earth! ⛷✨

This was our second stay at Les Suites Fu Montana. Sometimes when you return to a place you thought was perfect, you’re expectations are higher than they should be but once again, everything about this hotel, from the staff, food, comfort etc, to the location is outstanding. We love it and hope to visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

lovely traditional hotel - on the slopes

This was our third stay here and it is a lovely cosy hotel but with plenty of room in each suite - separate lounge and 2 bathrooms plus decent bedroom. It is not modern and done in a very traditional manner but still nice. It is starting to show signs of wear and tear and needs some updating to keep it as its current 5 star status. The staff are lovely - the food was very nice but the actual service is not well organised especially in the main restaurant - you have staff coming to do the same thing within minutes or you are left sitting there for ages - it needs to be zoned with specific staff attending certain tables - but I guess it is part of the relaxed experience. The spa is apparently manned from 10-6 but you can hardly ever get hold of anyone - yet it seems to be booked up! With a few tweaks it would be amazing.. Sadly the tignes resort itself - well the ski area has definitely got worse in terms of groomed pistes and piste closures versus recent years. Back to the 3 valleys ...

Supremely comfortable and great food

Loads of space in the rooms and stylish lobby area. Half board is a must as the food is top notch. Our room had its own sauna and a real log fire relaid for us each day, making it very cosy. A few quibbles such as poor wifi and not the best view (we were on the lowest floor) but nothing major.

Great hotel on the slopes.

Very warm welcome, good restaurant in the hotel and half board enabled us to try other restaurants too. Breakfast was really excellent. Staff very friendly. I would definitley recommend this hotel and also return.

Amazing hotel and even better service

We arrived very late in the evening, after the restaurant closed, so the staff thoughtfully put some food in our room. This was just the start of a wonderful week at this lovely, comfortable ski-in, ski out hotel suites. The room itself was a 2 bedroom duplex which worked extremely well for my wife and I, plus our 8 year old son, (who slept on a separate level from us). The main hotel has its own ski shop and lift ticket issuing facility so we were all set and ready to ski without even leaving the hotel complex. What really stood out for us though was the quality of the service - from the welcome from reception each day, to our poached eggs in the morning (especially cooked the way we wanted them), to the barman who made great cocktails, to the restaurant with its 5 course menu which changes every night. The guy who managed the restaurant was exceptional - he referred to us by name and no request was too small or to difficult. To finish the week, the staff offered to take our skis and boots back to the ski shop so that we didn't have to. This is the first hotel review I have written in 43 years of staying in quality hotels, and never before have I experienced such quality and friendly service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and we will certainly be back. The only criticism I have is that my wife and I ended our skiing holiday weighing more than when we started - too much quality food and wine!

Un accaueil et un service très agréable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un espace très agréable. La literie est très confortable et le personnel vraiment très accueillant. Il manque juste un mini bar dans la chambre et de quoi se faire un café ou un thé. Mis à part ce détail, l'hôtel est très agréable et le service remarquable. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine.

Good ski in, ski out for a winter break.

A good suite hotel, ski in ski out. Excellent staff. Food good and sometimes excellent. The only serious issue is the internet capacity and quality of WiFi. If you need to keep in touch with your business and work, stay elsewhere. OK for a little light email traffic, but no more than that.
