"The Chateau is stunning, our check in was very good and our room lovely. However, to be clear, although it's marketed on websites such as Hotels.com, it is not a hotel in the traditional sense. "I appreciated the friendly welcome. A simple older style hotel but it was comfortable and quiet and everything worked well. A very comfortable bed. The breakfast was simple but good. There is lots of beautiful countryside nearby."

"We used this motel as a stay over on our way down to Granite lake for fishing. There are purpose built Self contained log cabins in the grounds of the main building which we stayed in. It was perfect for our needs. Very basic but very clean and comfortable which the price reflects and we were 100% satisfied and enjoyed the owners and locals hospitality. The food and wine was very nice too!"

"The area around the property is an old town that has seen better days. Some properties have been restored beautifully and there is some amazing medieval architecture. Very close by is free, convenient parking and the area felt very safe. The patron is charming and helpful and the owner of a nearby excellent restaurant, serving wonderful food. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was continental and more than adequate."
