"The building was set back from the road a bit with a large grassy area in front. The porch running along the front had chairs available for each room. The local shuttle bus into Bar Harbor center stopped adjacent to the motel."

"Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at this hotel. In the middle of the night, while we were asleep, someone unlocked and attempted to open our room door. Fortunately, the security latch stopped the door from opening completely, although the force partially ripped the door trim from the wall. The room had only the standard door lock and the security latch. After this incident, I had to wedge a chair under the door handle to keep the door secure for the rest of the night. Needless...

"The staff were super helpful when we checked in. We noticed a few issues with the room. There were still crumbs on the counters, one sink drained very slowly and one bed was missing the fitted sheet. We also had to ask for more toilet paper and another set of towels as we had 4 in our party and only had 3 sets. When I asked the staff for the fitted sheet they were helpful and apologetic.
