"This is a nice hotel with good size room. All the staff were polte and helpfull. There is a nice swimming pool and hotel provides complimentary tee / cofee and biscuits in the afternoon which is a nice touch. The only negative is that the area approaching the hotel is very run down so go from a poor area to nice area within the hotel boundary which is a bit unfortunate. We would be more than happy to stay at the hotel agaim."

"We stayed 1 night. The person at the check-in was super helfpful. He showed us another room when we asked to get something away from the street. We ended up in the room overlooking the street and did not have trouble with noise at all. Clean well decorated room, clean bathroom. The person at the check in helped us a lot of information about ways to explore mahabalipuram, how to get to chennai next day, where to eat etc. Also showed us a shortcut to go to the music festival on the beach. "An owner-run hotel that is small enough (12 rooms) for the staff to know you and attend to you personally. Rooms may not have the most modern fittings but is big, comfortable, and clean. Has hot water for shower and wifi too. Stayed twice at this hotel recently, both wonderful experiences. Breakfast is served personally: fruit platter, juice, choice of Indian or Western toast, with coffee or tea amidst rooftop dining area with lovely view of sea. Short 200m walk to beach. Brought many friends...
