"Service was inexperienced but very kind. Heating and cooling of rooms was turned off so the room was very hot. Lots of mosquitos but no screens. Finally they double charged us for the room and have refused to refund it, which is ridiculous and we will have to go through VISA to block charge "

"This is a oasis or calm and tranquilly just metres away from the hustle and bustle of a major route through the old city medina. The host and hostess were a delight, very friendly and accommodating. Although their English was on par with my French, we managed with humour and good grace. They were prepared to get up early and make a breakfast before I left. I would highly recommend this hidden gem"

"The men at the front of the hotel were warm and welcoming and helped us out with any questions ensured we knew safe ways to get around. Thats where the positives end. Dated rooms with windows that rattle, bathroom that has seen better days and rock hard beds and pillows. Breakfast is manhandled by a man to make it look like its full and never seen replenished except when pastries were returned that someone didnt eat. Needs a massive overhaul. Good choice but…

"This isn't my first stay at the hotel. It has a brand perception that should be maintained. However, the breakfast offerings are lacking. I stayed in room 118 on the ground floor, and that room is in desperate need of renovation. In any other place in Europe, that room wouldn’t be used unless it had been refurbished!"
