"Easily one of the most genuinely charming and historic hotels that I have stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a lot. The rooms were huge, the ceilings high, and the mattresses newly replaced (the old ones were behind the building in an alley, waiting to be disposed). They were so comfortable we actually stripped the bed in our room to find out the make. Also, the people at the desk were very friendly and seemed to take a lot of pride in their property. "

"The hotel could use a basic "refresh". While my room was a nice size, it was a bit run down and could use an overall upgrade. The staff was great - Shane is wonderful! I was not clear when housekeeping was to come. Towels were changed every day, but my bed was only made 1 out of the 3 days I was there. Good location. "

"Room was much smaller than what was seamed on photos. Wide angle view makes us look much larger. Bathroom was fine but the actual room just enough space for bed and 1-2 feet are on each side of bed. That was it. No place to put your clothes. Only hooks on wall. Fridge will hold minimal items maybe one full subway sandwich so pack accordingly. They would not switch room to a larger one even when available for additional charge (maybe their policy is different but still did not expect that). No...

"I seriously have stayed in nicer cheap road side Motel 6s than this place. Room had a horrible AC unit that groaned and howled while on so badly that I couldn’t sleep with it on. Next two nights I just got the room as cold as possible during the early evening so I could turn off the AC completely when I wanted to sleep. Shampoo dispenser was completely empty; so I asked the front desk to refill it. Came back to the room and had new towels but still no shampoo. Plus shower was barely warm;...

"It was skeptical at first. I didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into, then I met who also was staying there, it was not all that bad. I had a good time. We were not there as much. Pinball is great if you know how to play. Thank you."

"Staff was nice but hotel only looks nice in the lobby. At night there were men hanging out in the lobby. Not something you want to experience coming off a long drive with small children. My room stinked like smoke and smelly feet and there was hair in my shower. The television only had channel 5 and was dated. "
