"The room was old, but clean. We only spoke with staff briefly but they were friendly, courteous and helpful. There was no kitchen...only a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator the parking was adequate. It fit our needs. "

"The room was very clean and close to downtown. We stayed at the motel during Rusty Scupper's days. And we could walk to town every day. So we didn't need to find parking."

"Literally didn’t encounter a human on the hotel staff at any point in my stay, including during check in and check out. Room was only partially painted. Inside walls and elevator and decor were falling apart - outside both the building and decor were dilapidated. Appeared to have been sitting untouched since the 1960s."

"It was a great cabin for us and our two dogs. We were able to get a later check out time. A little hard to see the numbers on the cabin as we arrived later in the night. There are a lot of mosquitoes so I would definitely recommend packing bug spray."

"This place was perfect! Very tastefully done from the true rain shower to the warm cozy blankets the Inn was a very welcoming part of my trip! I would definitely stay here again! Thoughtfully laid out kitchen with everything you need. Coffee stand out front, and RV spaces as well! Clean, and every detail taken care of. Thank you very much!"

"We have nothing bad to say about our stay here. They thought of everything...not a detail was left out. It was the most comfortable, cozy place to stay. There was enough room for all of us and the kids loved the ping pong. Communication was perfect and pricing was too. We have another getaway booked at this retreat in summer because we loved it so much. If you want the most relaxing stay....stay here!!!"

"Such a beautiful home with comfy beds in every room. Loved that we were able to use the items they had to play at the beach comfortably, board games stocked and DVD player upstairs in the game room. Right on the lake was fun to sit near the fire and watch the boats go by. Bugs didnt come out till it got dark so pack your bug spray for night. Overall 10/10 definitely want to stay here again "
