Ueno is a relaxing respite from the full chaos of touristy areas yet still has endless food/markets/bars within a few steps of the hotel. "The hotel was ok. Small rooms and no pool or anything. The restaurants are medicore . The Tokyo Dome Hotel is a lot nicer with much better restaurants."

"Staff was great and the hotel was very clean. Only issue was the lack of real air conditioning so the room was too hot to sleep in. I asked the staff for a way to cool the room and they gave me this weird water based fan that did not do much."
