"Wow, what a fabulous place for a Staycation. The buildings are all old and have been left in their original form however the rooms are great, the food great, the location however, fabulous. If you want a break and enjoy a walk and a glass of bubbles or two with a view, this is the place. I have lived in Sydney all my life and cannot believe I have never stayed her before. We will be back every 6 months."

"Breakfast really exceeded my expectations, lots of choice and great quality, definitely the best breakfast I've had in a hostel. Hostel is very modern and clean, with nice events: I especially loved the Friday $5 lasagna night. Booked a female only room and felt safe throughout my stay, really liked the design of the bunk beds with their curtains, lights and convenient charging points. Only improvement I would suggest right now is proper lockers rather than trays under the beds for personal...

"Love love loved our stay here. Far exceeded our expectations and walking up the stairs to the beautiful view over Manly beach never gets boring. Found staff were so helpful and friendly ,took time to make sure check in was easy. Apartment had everything we needed,was clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds , plenty of room for a family. "The room was renovated and clean. Appreciated the complimentary water bottles, milk and drink vouchers. Daily cleaning. Aircon works great. All the amenities we needed (minus a microwave) were provided in the room. Ample parking. 5min walk to the train station. At night, you can hear some road noise and music from downstairs, but it's not that loud. Ear plugs are provided. However, the beds were so comfortable that we had a good night's sleep. The beds had wheels and tended to move too much....

"Hotel is perfectly located to walk to the piers, the rocks, the opera house, catch a train into the city or a ferry to Manly or the zoo. Rooms are very large - you will be comfortable and able to stretch out while you are there. The common space on the ground floor is very nice, although sunset spots on the dock tend to book fast. The room has a mechanical shade you can lower with a light switch which is also helpful if you want to sleep in. For runners (which we were) there is a constant stream...
