"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. The location was perfect for a day trip to nearby Oban, which should not be missed, particularly for the seafood and Oban Distillery tour. "A nice stay overall. We were unable to get the water in the shower cool enough to use, so we had to sponge bathe in the sink. But the room was clean and comfortable enough. We liked that it was within walking distance of the ferry."
