"We arrived at the resort near midnight from long, delayed flights. The check-in was fast and easy. There was still food (pizza and fries) available at the snack bar for a quick eat. The room was super cold (which felt wonderful after being in heat). The rooms are a bit outdated and the hotel itself looks a bit older, but it was still great! It was cleaned and the AC worked well. The resort had amazing food, each area was delicious! The pools were always cleaned. The staff constantly were picking up empty cups to make it look clean, the beach was super clean and plenty of loungers. The coffee shop wasn’t opened much when we’d walk by, but when we managed to get a coffee it was good. There’s tons of iguanas which made the atmosphere seem even more tropical. We decided to take a couple excursions from Greg, who is at the boardwalk. He helped us with getting transportation back to the airport as well. Overall, this resort exceeded expectations! Lovely area!!"
