Cari Chalet di Tortuguero

"We were in room 29, it was spacious and even with screen windows it wasn’t too noisy from people nearby. The hammock on the porch was nice, and we got to see toucans in the tree by our front door. We also saw a huge iguana on the lawn, and a sweet orange cat. The bathroom was also large and clean. The shower did not have a handheld but it was a rain shower and had hot water pretty quickly. The strange wooden rack in the bathroom proved very useful to lay out clothes to try and get them to dry....

"9/10!! Great staff. Good breakfast. Amazing views from the deck. Conveniently located downtown Tortuguero. The tour guide, Luis, we had was great. I highly recommend Casa Marbella, and their tours!"

"Very special hotel in the middle of the jungle. Clean, beautiful and amazing staff working there. We had the best time ever"

"Great place to stay right on the water!"

"I have never received better customer service than at Miss Junie’s. Nory and her staff are attentive and committed to hospitality. The rooms are very clean. The building and grounds are beautiful and old, worn by time, but with character. The afternoon ocean breeze is cooling and the beach is shaded in the late afternoon. There are old trees on the grounds where iguanas live and macaws visit. The property is also adjacent to the town and the river, and a short walk from the turtle...

"Nous recommandons vivement Aninga Lodge , le personnel est très gentil, les bungalows charmants au milieu de la jungle de Tortuguero. Le petit déjeuner et repas pris étaient très corrects. Bref nous avons adoré !"

"It was a really nice basic motel where the staff were very friendly. It had what we needed as a family of 6."

"We had 4 HUGE roaches in our room when we arrived! My husband had to kill them; just so we could sleep & feel comfortable-still was hard bc we were wondering if more would come out at night & crawl all over us while sleeping! Next night we had a lizard on our pillows before bedtime. Plus; safety wise we had No glass on the windows had to sleep with only screens on windows! Only a ceiling fan; as they don’t offer air conditioning. The walking trail on the property is really run down & full of...

"The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. "

"Great room for the price. Friendly staff. "

"Lovely and helpful staff. Great food. By far the most convenient location. Less than a min across the river from the airstrip. I will definitely go back."

"Great host in Costa Rica!!"

"The nature of this place is absolutely amazing. Also, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable."

"Beautiful and rustic surroundings. Staff was excellent."

"Clean room and helpful staff. The view on the river was amazing and we could easily access tours and places to eat. It is a shame that you can't have breakfast on site."
