"Loved this hotel. We had the apartment and it had everything you could possibly need. Very cool decor throughout . Kind of matched the steampunk art theme in town. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too."

"Rooms need a good clean . No hand towels for use in shared bathroom. Garbage upstairs was not taken out we were their two days. Needs a bit of modernizing . Has charm and history could be a real busy little boutique . All the doors and windows need some oil . Might help prevent guests from being woken up. Great location."

"There was shops across the road and nextdoor. Staff were really nice and accomodating as we arrived very early. Parking was right at the door and no problem with space."

"A clean room for a reasonable price. We also didn’t expect a second room with two beds. One criticism is that the beds in the second room were not very comfortable. We started there because they were further from the road and then moved to the main room, where the bed was great. Because these were beds we did not expect, I didn't downgrade my rating. Oh, also, having access to a full kitchen was more than we expected."

"Convenient location and comfortable and well appointed room - perfect for our one night stay in Oamaru. Easy parking and ground floor room made access very easy. Would not hesitate to recommend to other travellers. We didn’t use the on site restaurant or bar facilities so can’t comment on that."

"ok stay overnight . had 2 bed upstairs apartment which served its purpose although if 2 couples 1 sleeps in lounge as 2nd bedroom is bunks . walkable into town . "
