"Plenty of parking, convenient location. It's an old building and had some issues to be attended to. The room could have been a little cleaner. The beds were fairly comfortable. It was good for the one night we stayed there. The people were great."

"Staff was nice Room was fine except Sink faucet was broken and needed to be repaired to turn water off after I reported it AC was fine Parking was plentiful but felt unsafe. Cars were abandoned and others had people living out of them. One drunk young man told my wife she should go to his room in the elevator. This appears to be a motel used by long term monthly residents"

"Over rated property. I booked it just because of high rating. But I was disappointed. Not enough towels, just 1 small shampoo for 2 adults, no space to put your stuff, just 1 dirty sofa. It was not comfortable stay."

"The owners were super friendly and helpful at welcome desk, offering assistance and explaining amenities. The lodge was quaint, clean and well maintained. Only 10 miles from Lake Placid and a mile from Whiteface Mountain. Ideal for short, romantic"

"We picked this hotel because their was a pool and continental breakfast. However after arriving we found out the pool has been closed for 5 years. There was no breakfast or even coffee makers in the room. Staff were very helpful and offered to allow us to cancel our reservation. However after 40 minutes of trying to get a refund through Expedia we gave up and stayed there. Rooms were fine, they look like their in the middle of updating accommodations."
