"This was such a lovely property. The sconces were fabulous. So easy to check in late and our room was beautiful decorated. Just know that there is a lot of steps so you may want to request a second floor.room. I loved the 3rd floor with our view. I can’t say enough about this hotel. I would stay here again. "

"The hotel was clean and fine nothing to complain about. It was concerning the people walking around and to the back of the property. Make sure your car doors are locked and keep to yourself and check out and leave and it’s fine."

"Room was small. Blanket and comforter too heavy for the season. Queen bed felt undersized. Slate floor as you entered room was broken and cracked. Birch veneer on the TV cabinet/closet was peeling and cracked. Check in staff was great. "

"Arriving at the Showboat Hotel our room was not acceptably clean. The floor was sticky and covered with dirt, mini fridge had mold, and the balcony had dirt/bird droppings that was clearly not kept up with. I called the hotel desk which is not in on the weekends, after speaking with hospitality we were sent a housekeeper. "The AC/HEAT unit sounded like a jet engine. The room was hot when I arrived. The cove base was missing or coming off the wall in several places. The door hardware was very loose and I’m sure the room I was in could be broken into very easily. The tv didn’t work properly. The parking area was in dire need of repair. There was no included breakfast"

"The bed was very “springy” and I could feel them in by back. Maybe upgrade or add toppers to the mattresses would definitely help people. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay."
