There were multiple spots of Black Mold on the bathroom ceiling and cockroaches running around in the bathroom. There was one stained and worn chair in the room and two damaged lamps. "We stayed that this hotel for a last minute sports competition. The hotel was terribly outdated. The room seamed not very clean (dust in corners), with old worn linens (which did seem clean/ washed). The hallway smelled musty and the carpet was outdated and worn. In some places where the carpet had worn through, you could see the older carpet underneath it. "I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!"

"Beautiful renovated mansion on the outskirts of town. Room was spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent. Only complaint is our room, #10, was above the mechanical system which shook the room and rattled the lamp on the nightstand next to the bed."
