"This is the second time we have stayed at La Puerta de Nerja Hostel Boutique. The location is ideal as it is very close to bars and restaurants. Burriana Beach is a 15 minute picturesque walk away. The staff were extremely friendly especially the staff on the rooftop terrace, where we went at the end of an evening. A big thank you to the mature gentleman, his grandson and the waitress who were very attentive.. we loved the cake!! We would definitely recommend this hostel and will plan to return...

"Das Hotel hat Charme und ist sehr geschmackvoll, kreativ und modern eingerichtet. Der Flair des Gebäudes aus 1908 wurde perfekt erhalten und stilvoll saniert. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung. Das Zimmer war technisch hochwertig ausgestattet und bot jeglichen Komfort. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Kopfkissen kann man bei Bedarf gegen ein anderes Modell tauschen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Nicht zu vergessen das Restaurant und die Dachterrasse. Frühstück sowie Dinner waren exzellent....

In der Nacht schrieen ständig Menschen und auf dem Gang hörte man auch alles. Leider ohne Ohrenstöpsel garnicht möglich schlaf zu finden. "Although it’s a beautifully renovated building in the residential part of the old town of Velez-Málaga, the photos are somewhat misleading. Pool is a jacuzzi that is no longer functioning. Ground floor rooms are dark, with no views and portable air conditioning units. There was no wifi in our room—only in the common areas. Parking can be difficult."

Am Strand und unterwegs ist es natürlich immer etwas problematisch. Zu Fuß zur Stadt erfordert einige gewisse Sportlichkeit. Es fährt aber auch alle 30 Minuten ein Bus. Wir hatten entschieden, Halbpension zu buchen. Das Essen ist à la carte. Das Angebot ist sehr fischlastig. Die Karte ist nicht groß und wurde auch innerhalb einer Woche...
