"Wonderful "

"We needed a place to relax for the weekend after a busy work week. This fit the bill. We stayed in building 14. We had a lovely balcony with rocking chairs. They provided a nice cozy blanket. We had a massage. I believe my therapist’s name is Erica. She was wonderful! They have live music and a patio with fireplaces to relax. We did enjoy that area a few times. "The staff went above and beyond in every way and that I appreciated. On the other hand, the shade didn't properly privacy, you could see straight into the room. The sink was cracked so water was everywhere and another sink leaked in the floor. The lamp i slept next to had cobwebs and the internet didn't work. I shared this with the managers and they never got back to me. Hopefully they were busy improving if not hope this review helps"

"The staff was very good... especially Anderson. The location was excellent but the overall property could use some upgrades. However, we loved our stay and our room was worn but very charming. Our only issue was that during our 3 day stay we never had our room cleaned. Other than that I highly recommend The Tides. We will return."

"Loved the location and amenities! It had everything we needed. Beach was beautiful- I could watch the surfers all day long! You have a shuttle that takes you to the beach if you don’t want to walk 2 minutes :) and you can request them to set up the chairs and umbrellas, get boogie boards. I find it a very nice add-on. Staff was beyond attentive!! Food at restaurants was very good! You almost don’t need to leave, but you do have a gorgeous area around so it’s nice to venture off to San Clemente...
