"My wife and I made a day trip from Anchorage to Homer. The Moosetide was the perfect stay. It is clean and beautiful. Cheyenne was a remarkable host who gave us all the inside information about things to do in the area. We plan to go back and stay again, though next time we'll come two weeks earlier (we came in mid September) to enjoy the end of the fishing/fresh-catch season."

"We loved the panoramic views of Kachemak Bay and mountains. The cabin is fully stocked with everything needed to have a comfortable stay. Host was friendly very helpful and we highly recommend for a fantastic place to stay."

"Though it said lake view it really wasn’t but don’t let that stop you!!!! This group does it RIGHT! Everything you would need or want down to candy jar, paper plates on top of regular. Washer and dryer is awesome. A small patio, quiet, covered parking! It’s large , and close to everything. We cannot say enough good things about this place. Great for a couple or 2 couples and can handle 3 couples one on the sofa bed. Staff we dealt with were wonderful and check in was so simple with a key pad and code they send you. Again rent this place if you can. You may think it’s a little pricey but you can’t put a $ amount on just how nice it is. Nothing bad at all."

"The property was at the end of the Homer spit which was really nice. While the view of the mountains were blocked by a stairway, once we stepped outside, the view was perfect. The room was clean and nice size. The bed was comfortable."
