"We didn’t really like anything about the hotel.
The staff are friendly but are all very young.
Very tired decor and not maintained particularly well.
Spa is awful.
No shower in our bathroom which is unheard of in this day and age, especially in a heatwave!
No mini fridge to keep drinks cool.
Small, stuffy room and advised not to keep windows open as the midges will enter!
Very, very overpriced.
Felt quite ripped off."

"Room wasn’t cleaned so also no tea/coffee/water replaced. Called reception and replacements promised within 10 minutes - never arrived after an hour so had to re request. No clean cups or spoons. Two power cuts first night with no answer to an Expedia message.
Hotel was extremely dated and it is never a 4 star room and the receptionists all lacked basic pleasantries/communication skills. Much prefer Llechwen Hall stays.
Golf course looked nice though"

"Lovely stay at the Vale. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and the air con was delightful! Breakfast was tasty!"

"Upon arrival there was a sign saying the pool, sauna and steam room were going to be out if order for half of my stay, this was not communicated at all and no compensation or adjustment made to the room rate to compensate especially being in mid to high 3 figures.
