"I was robbed, they took the payment but refused me a stay for no reason. The staff on reception, a tall Indian man was very rude and disrespectful. Instead of welcoming me, his first words were “we need your bank card to charge you in case you smoke in the room or use any drinks”. I said can’t give you my card because the code and everything is visible on the same side plus I can’t see what you will do with it behind the counter. I said give me a paper and I will put down the info needed. Then he threatened me that if I give the card to him the info will stay in their system for one day, but if I write it on a sheet of that paper it might stay there for weeks, and anybody can see it, basically he stressed that my data is not protected. Just to blackmail me to give him the card. Then we went in circles arguing and one woman who is the manager there came and said to me that I am not staying because I am talking too much and I am rude. I said do you not have a device like in other hotels where I touch and you get my details or deposit for the stay. She said no, we don’t. At this point me and my girlfriend agreed that we will give them the card because it is not worth wasting time and arguing after 6 hours of tiring travel. But the manager refused me to stay and I asked about my money, then she said you can cancel from Expedia and they will give me a call to confirm. When that happened she refused to Expedia to refund me the money."
