Le chalet est encore plus beau à l'intérieur, mieux que sur les photos du site ! L'hôte nous a super bien accueilli et il nous a guidé jusqu'au chalet et est venu nous expliquer les commodités. Belle vue dehors.

Beautiful cottage, nice clean rooms. Barbeque work like a dream. Kitchen could’ve been a little bit more well appointed with a carrot peeler a few other little miscellaneous things that could be picked up at Dollarama.

The cottage was well represented. Ours had two rooms and was up on a tall hill overlooking the water (water unaccessible). The cottages are directly off the highway and close to the Canso causeway (start of Cape Breton). A town is nearby with all the supplies you could need. The cottage has very basic amenities for the kitchen and such. Ours was $311 for early September, which was on the high side, but we wanted this sort of a place to stay, and not a chain hotel. The owner met us when we arrived, and escorted us up the hill to our cottage. Overall, a very pleasant cottage to stay in.

We arrived late at night, and the staff kindly waited for us and helped us with the check-in process. We really appreciated their patience and hospitality. The room was very clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The small kitchen in the room was a great addition and made our stay much more convenient. Waking up in the morning and walking along the lakeside trail was such a wonderful experience. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back again.

This place is magical. The view from the front porch is eye-popping. The cabin is quiet, comfortable, and very well equipped. If you're there for the cycling, the Celtic Shores Trail runs right along the property. We had the neighborhood herd (gaggle) of Canadian geese grazing on the hill outside the whole visit. The region is really beautiful with nice beaches in the communities to the north. We would definitely return.

We enjoyed our night in this cottage. Unfortunately it poured rain the entire time we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the view, but it was nice to warm up by the fireplace and watch the ballgame on tv. The bed was comfortable. Would recommend this location to others.

Everything was fine and efficient. The only item we found was it hadn't been dusted recently. Some dust and cobwebs! Other than that, I could have rated it excellent 👌.Five minutes time would of taken care of that! Not a 'make or break' jt

The owner is very kind and the check in process is smart; you follow him up the hill to your cottage so no confusion as to where to park and stuff. The location and view is STUNNING, 10/10. I found the cottage itself and the amenities a bit basic and outdated. If you take only the cottage in consideration (without the view), I wouldn't pay what I paid to stay there. The king size bed in the very small bedroom feels claustrophobic. Also wasn't aware that they would come to change the towels and empty the bins as I was only staying for 2 nights (+solo traveler), I would have def opted out. Note that there are no racks to hang beach towels or swimsuits. Roku tv is a plus. I would stay again but def for a lower price.
