"I would stay here again. On site sauna and gym open til 10pm, gym is small but clean. They also have an on-site restaurant thats extra but breakfast was fresh and quality was excellent. One mile walk into downtown Truckee and 0.5 mile walk to nearest plaza that has a decent Thai and wine restaurant. Short 20 mins drive from Palisades if there's no traffic."

"Kayaking on the lake was lovely. The room was very clean and had the cutest cottage charm. We visited in May, but these units are well suited for winter activities as well, with the jetted tub, fireplace and kitchenette. The heat was off, the outside temperature dropped into the 40's after midnight and the unit was still almost 80° inside."

"Went to the restaurants for a prime rib. The worst prime rib I’ve ever seen. Thinly sliced with a lot of fat and looked like they cooked it on a flat top grill burnt on the edges. Well done in the middle with the fat burned. It was supposed to be medium rare. I sent it back and ordered another dish. Did not eat at the facility anymore. Went across the street to the Golden Nugget the food was excellent. The place was definitely five stars at the Golden Nugget. The room did not even have Ubs...
