"Room was good sized. We also didn't hear the other guests at all inside the room. All requests were handled promptly. We paid a discounted rate through Expedia, and for that reason, it was a bargain for what you got. We didn't eat at the onsite restaurant (which was a little pricey for us), but it might have been good.The best part was the beautiful grounds and being right on the river. "

When they provide a non-smoking room that is what you get; not a room that has been sprayed to disguise cigarette odors that makes it smell as bad or worse than just cigarettes. "This is a convenient hotel close to the freeway, but without any freeway noise. Huge plus is they offer smoking rooms, nice to have a choice. Rooms are not super up to date, but acceptable for the reasonable price. One negative is the TV service they use does not get local stations. Tried to get the local news - and they do not have it. That is something I always count on when away. "

"Stopped in Redding for the night and this was the best hotel for our family of 4. We did a late check in and the property was safe, could only be accessed by a key or calling the front desk! "I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and had a good stay. The room was older, and okay, and mostly clean. The shower could use a good deep cleaning in the corners, but other than that no complaints. The hotel staff at all levels was the best I have seen in many years. Every staff member was professional and genuinely happy and helpful. "Staff was very friendly. The room was clean when we arrived but no one cleaned the room while we were staying there. The gym was not well equipped. Two treadmills were broken or had motor issues. There was no way to clean the machines or weights. No sanitation wipes or spray to clean any of the equipment you used. Pool was usable but clearly not maintained as the temperature was too cold to swim. "

The girl hotel staff member was supper helpful but one of the tvs in our room didnt work due to the cords being old it kepts coming in and out of picture. Also the shampoos and conditioners on the wall were empty. The first morning breakfast the waffle maker kept sticking and burning them but they had that fixed by the second morning. Probably wouldnt pay another $350 a night to stay again tho when there where a bunch of other hotels around. "

"This is THE worse rooms I have ever stayed. Check in was a nightmare. Over all condition of the hotel was distressed to say the least. Our room smell of marijuana, their was marijuana pods on the floor. The carpet was stained with god knows what?, everything is worn out, the shower was rusted, mold and ready to fall through the floor. Would not sit on the couch, it too had stains. The wall had been patched, but not painted, holes in the ceiling, air conditioner was dirty and smelled. I...
