"I love the decor at Hotel Figueroa. We booked the Casa Suite which was beautifully appointed. However, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. My husband woke up with his back hurting and I woke up with a stiff neck. I ended up just not using the pillow the second night. They had a mirror in the bedroom which looked like you could work out with it. It had cameras. But we couldn’t figure out how to turn it on. They had a vanity kit in the bathroom which had three or so cotton swabs, two cotton pads and a nail file. I opened one up and left the unused items on the vanity. The cleaning crew took away the unused items and didn’t replenish the vanity kit. They also don’t provide you with a body lotion. Lastly we were there to watch two LA Kings games. The second one was a 1 pm game. Apparently the $64 parking fee only covers you till noon and it cost another $35 to keep the car in the lot after. Overall we didn’t really feel like we had a luxury stay."

"Literally only needed a room to rest in the night before my son’s surgery and this hotel was perfect. The gated parking area was nice, the hotel was literally 5 mins walking from a shopping center (we ate at waba grill and it was delicious). I was surprised at how quiet it was, we were in the second floor facing the courtyard and I never heard anyone above me or outside of our room. The hotel staff was very nice and personable. The bed and pillows was surprisingly comfortable ( go figure, the one time I remember to bring my own pillow I don’t need it.) the rooms have a microwave and mini fridge, they also have a gift shop and vending machines (and a bistro below). The only thing most people might complain about as lack of coffee machine in the room; normally this might be an issue for my husband who drinks coffee but since my son had to fast we decided to also fast so the coffee wasn’t missed. If we had to go to LA again, this would be somewhere we’d come back to stay."

"This is a very nice hotel right on Hollywood Blvd. Room was clean, well furnished, staff was helpful. The hotel is beautiful, classic hollywood charm. Easy to get uber/lyft to area attractions."
