"Very strange setup in the room. It had two double beds as requested. Then it had two tiny rooms for toilet and shower. Sink outside. Then a curtain dividing the bed from the bathroom area. No privacy. It was a crazy setup."

"This is a very nice hotel. Very courteous staff. We had a suite and they had made up the sofa bed for my kid in advance. Rooms are spacious. This is not a bargain hotel but it is very nice. Huge breakfast selection. Bar serves a delicious Negroni. There is a shuttle van to the airport included."

"The staff was amazingly welcoming and helpful. Parking was easy and plentiful directly across a small street- we had no problem taking our luggage into the property. This location really provided a magical experience with a beautiful garden which had décor from across the world. Even a koi pond and turtles. "A big "Thank You" to Douglas and his team. There is nothing they have not thought of or taken care of. The rooms and living areas were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The attention to detail is very clearly shown by the interesting decor. Douglas laid out a great itinerary for us that included some sites that the bus tours would never visit. Casa da Estefânea has a great location to explore the Sintra area. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming stay in this...

"I would say the advertised pictures of the room were very deceiving. Very small and cramped. Sealed and frosted windows and no way of getting fresh air. Bed was poor and mattress sank towards the middle. Very uncomfortable. Airtight room. Some weird platform setup around the bed that made getting in and out of it very difficult. Hallway and elevator grubby with a slight odor of methane gas. For the price paid it was definitely a fail. I don't think you should advertise this place on your site...
