"You get what you pay for. And I just needed a place to sleep while my husband was having over night tests done. Up and out by 5am. It was just a room, no art on the wall. Looked like it had been removed. It was a little noisy being right at the stairs, but I needed a ground floor and it was the last one. So I’m not complaining. It was an ADA room so the bathroom was plenty big and the shower looked nice if I was in a wheelchair. (I have a disability just not that far gone yet) having the bars in the bathroom is what I needed. There was a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. No closet, but about 10 inches of a rod with hangers about 3 feet off the floor. TV was a good size. Furniture has seen at least 30 yrs of wear and tear. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Like I said, you get what you pay for. This was my 2nd time to stay here and both times the room has been clean and comfortable enough. And the staff have been great. If you just need a place to rest, it was worth the $60. It is right off I 5 so that’s great for someone just looking for a bit of shut eye in their travels. It is set off the freeway and the Hwy enough that I didn’t hear any traffic. I felt safe enough as a solo 67 yr old woman. Like I said, my husband was being over night tested. He wouldn’t have let me stay if it didn’t feel safe. And Elmers is probably only 1/2 mile away. That was a definite plus. Get the fish and chips :)"

"This place was pretty. There is a lounge off the lobby and a restaurant with great food. You can access the garden, but we didn't do that."

"Always appreciate the huge flowers in lobby. Front desk staff very friendly and professional. Love being so close to big park for early morning walk with our doggy. Overall, room was clean and comfortable. Only wish there were more amenities in kitchen - only had a couple of coffee mugs. Would be nice to have a few plates and utensils - forks and spoons."

"We were in a handicap room with a door to an adjoining room. The walls were not well soundproofed and the adjoining room had a dog and small children who were quite noisy. We arrived after dark and had so much difficulty trying to figure out how to turn on the lights that we finally had to question the manager on duty. I am a seasoned traveler who has spent years in hotel rooms and never experienced anything like that. We stayed two nights and while the towels were changed, the bed was not made up after the first night. The only bright spot was the breakfast. No complaints there. It was quite good for a hotel of this quality."
