The staff was friendly and the room was clean. We needed a place to stay for a Bama football game and this place was perfect for the price.

Staff courteous. Old hotel that needs some updating (painting, appliances that work, etc.,), but for the price you get what you get.

excellent Spartan room

A clean, well-lighted place. My one issue was solved immediately and with courtesy. I will stay there again, if I go to the same conference next May.

Clean, Friendly & Budget Conscious!

Granted, it is an older property, but it is also very budget friendly. The room was quite spacious and suited our needs perfectly. Definitely worth taking a look at if you were budget conscious and just want something that is clean and in a good location. Front desk service was very congenial with our late check in. Friendly staff.

Almost everything I can hope for in a budget minded hotel. Comfortable room, good AC, nice TV with DirecTV, good water pressure and plenty of hot water, quiet, no bad smells in the room, comfortable bed with nice bed coverings and pillows. Only small negatives - room was clean and swept but floor could have been mopped a little more and no ice machine. But would happily stay there again.

Very clean. Staff was cordial and helpful. Bed was hard as a rock but slept well second night. No USB plug in entire room. Think 1980 decorum. TV, Refrigerator, Microwave... Convenient.

Don’t try to save a buck staying here

We were put in a terrible room in the back corner with a view of old toilets. The a/c wasn’t on. The door didn’t fit you could see light all the way around it. There was dirty underwear behind the bathroom door. Mattress was terrible. I just left. I msg the hotel and they did offer to switch me but I was already out. They could keep my money. Why put a person in such a room to begin with. The upside the staff was very friendly

I paid way too much for this hotel since the Alabama game was going on. This hotel should be priced around 80$. If you pay anything above that you will be disappointed.

I never like to leave a bad review. I can say that this property was inflated. I was on a tight budget, so I guess for 90 bux I did get what I paid for. If you are on a tight budget go for it, you will survive. This is one that you’re not gonna speak about but you will know better next time.
