"Bed & Breakfast Antico dell'Oste is located in the historic center of Montepulciano, a beautiful and ancient Tuscan hill town. There areany restaurants, wineries, and boutiques nearby. I had a wonderful tour of the historic De'Ricci winery and tasted some marvelous Vini Nobili de Montepulciano. The owner of Antico dell'Oste, Giuseppe, was very kind. Between my broken Italian and his partial English, I managed to figure out thatvI should have driven directly to Parking Garage 6 (P6), not through...

"Als eine einfache Unterkunft für 1-2 Nächte durchaus geeignet. Mehr aber auch nicht. Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Aber es ist echt sehr sehr einfach ausgestattet. Frühstück (wird vorher angekreuzt, was man haben will und aufs Zimmer serviert) würde ich nicht mehr nehmen und lieber in der Stadt frühstücken."

"Stayed only one night, but very much enjoyed the stay. Room 2 (deluxe double room) was big, with high ceilings, and very nice finishes. Good bed, good water pressure in the shower, powerful AC (once you activate it with the room key, can’t keep it on when you leave). One note: there is no front desk and communication is done via messaging, including check-in instructions, but they are very prompt to respond. Will return!"

"The staff were so kind and helpful with so many recommendations around the area and beyond, calling a friend to find out dinner wait times to eat great carbonara, very speedy communication, cute property with a clean, air conditioned room for a reprieve from the heat and a little terrace where we played late night cards. Great proximity to Vatican, areas across the river and iconic spots. The beautiful court house is right next door and the neighborhood is off the beaten path of tourist mayhem....
