"A FEW DISAPPOINTMENTS, THE FOOD. IN THE PAST IT HAS BEEN EXCEPTIONAL, TOP NOTCH & PLENTIFUL. TO GET ONLY 2 BEANS FOR DINNER WITH A FILET MEAL WAS INTERESTING AND THE FILET BEING OVERCOOKED WAS A BIT DISAPPOINTING. THE BREAKFAST WAS AVERAGE, THE HOME FRIES WERE OVERCOOKED, DRY AND UNFORTUNATELY THE WORST WE'VE EVER TASTED, FELT LIKE THEY HAD FREEZER BURN. EXPECTED MORE FROM A 5 STAR RESORT TO POSSIBLY HAVE FRESH POTATO HOME FRIES. WE NEVER EVER COMPLAIN ABOUT FOOD BUT AGAIN ITS WORLD RENOWNED MT WASHINGTON RESORT CHARGING AN ARM & A LEG FOR EVERYTHING SO FOOD WAS A LETDOWN. ALSO, THERE WAS A CONFERENCE GOING ON WHILE WE WERE THERE THAT BLOCKED OFF THE OVAL ROOM (OUR FAVORITE) & THE MAIN DINING ROOM AT THE END OF OUR STAY & DISAPPOINTED WITH THAT ALSO. MAYBE IF GUESTS AREN'T ABLE TO USE 2 OF THE MAIN FEATURES OF THE HOTEL THEN POSSIBLY WAIVE THE RESORT FEES IF THE RESORT IS NOT FULLY ACCESSIBLE."

"Stayed wkend of Oct 31st. Pros: - If you are looking for a super quiet getaway, this would be it at this time of year. I think we saw maybe 12 other people during the weekend. - Clean and updated rooms and lobbies. - Hot Tub and heated pool were are main drivers to go to this hotel - Italian restaurant right inside resort - parking super easy Cons - Very quiet even for this time of year. Owners occupy a large majority of the hotel/time share so rooms and hallways are empty during off season. Normal hotels that don't have this usually have people around at least checking in and out. - Bar/restaurant inside was Closed. Only Italian place open along with a wine bar that served their own wine from what we say. Overall a good experience however we were hoping for something slightly more lively"

"This is an older property that at one time was probably really great. It is big with a pool and game room. Breakfast was plentiful. Our room was clean. We had everything we needed. It was value priced. Property was conveniently located to restaurants and a brewery. It was quiet. It looks as though it could use some maintenance but it did not affect our stay and would stay again if passing through."

"“Tucked away from Main Street but close by — offering a sense of quiet privacy from bustle of the busy street just steps away. Attentive staff a plus. Amenities such as hot tub a plus after a long hike and pleasantly surprised by the lots -of options -breakfast included meaning that it was not just an after thought of the bare tasteless essentials. Just what was needed for the overnight stay."

"The Sour’s Tavern downstairs was AMAZING!!! There was an outstanding guest bartender who had created special cocktails, and the food the chef made was absolutely delicious!!! The hotel was nice, but the room was really small with nowhere to sit. But the staff was very friendly and helpful."
